Our trip to the beach.

A few weeks ago room 8 went to the beach to learn about beach/water safety. We went with two other classrooms. We were very lucky to have such nice weather, great helpers, lovely lifeguards and fantastic friends to share our learning experience with!

At the beach we should...
- Always stay with an adult
- Not swim out too deep
- Always swim between the flags
- Listen to the lifeguards
- Respect the beach and other people
- Be sun smart
- Swim in togs
- If it doubt, stay out!
- Recognise rip currents
- Never swim when tired or cold
- Use the correct safety equipment
